The morning of the wedding Sophie, Alex, Dale and I headed back out for another morning hike. We went to the same area but did the full Fish Creek Falls trail. The waterfall was beautiful!

Hello, Steamboat
We spent Labor Day weekend in Steamboat, Colorado to celebrate my cousin Ben’s wedding! When we first arrived we headed straight into town to explore before checking into our Airbnb. The next morning Grant went on his first hike with us! He loved facing forward in the carrier to take in the scenery and we all enjoyed the beautiful early Fall weather.
Fourth of July 2023
I was so excited for the Fourth of July because I ordered Grant the most adorable crab bubble! We celebrated by participating in the neighborhood Popsicle parade, had lunch at the pool and had a wonderful family dinner on my parent’s patio. That weekend we headed to the lake for fireworks!
North Carolina Film
I finally got some old film developed from our time in Emerald Isle, North Carolina! Dale and I had just started sharing the news that I was pregnant and took a few photos with an ultrasound photo and this “It’s a Boy” card from Hallmark Signature. It’s so crazy to think back on this time now that our Grant is about to be four months old!
Father's Day 2023
This afternoon we celebrated Father’s Day (Dale’s First!) a day early at my parents house. I got Dale a board book entitled “Mom, Dad & Grant” that I made through Artifact Uprising (alongside a hammock we still need to pick out/order) and gave all the dads the “Happy Father’s Day” pop-up card that features my lettering!
