I have wanted to visit Hampton Court Palace for years and was SO excited to spend our first full day in London exploring the palace and gardens! The contrast between the Tudor Court and the Baroque Palace is so interesting and is like visiting two different palaces in one. I’m so excited to begin sharing photos from my family trip to England and Croatia! Sophie and I had an eventful flight out (and ended up missing our first day) but we were thrilled to finally land in London and got a full night’s sleep before our first full day! Our Airbnb was right above Mr. Fogg’s House of Botanicals and we fully embraced all the faux flowers around town. I have TWO posts coming to share our visit to Hampton Court Palace, but for now here are a few highlights from our first day exploring London and our dinner at Sketch!

The end of this month is particularly exciting because I’m headed to Europe for three weeks (and when this posts I will be in England)! This also means that I’m wrapping up a rotation in Hallmark’s Global Trends Studio and will rejoin my normal team after my trip. Besides all the prep-work to be out for my vacation, this month was filled with meetings for Holiday Mart, the return of Hallmarket (one of my favorite days of the year!), time with friends (dinner with Brandon & Sonya, charity event with Alyson & Kale, dinner with Laura & Leslie), Grammy and Aunt Edna’s birthday lunch, and lots of time photographing all the blooms. Peony season is my absolute favorite!

Two weeks ago I headed to Florida for a quick work trip! Amber Goodvin and I were featured artists doing live hand lettering at a Hallmark event. We also got to enjoy a bit of sunshine and some ocean views, too!

Spring is in full bloom here in Kansas City! April turned out to be an eventful month featuring a trip to Nashville to celebrate Baby Laws, a spa day at Bijin Salon & Spa, a rainy and cold Easter weekend, the return of KC Design week where my mom and I attended the Homes by Architects tour, and the month was capped off with two days in Florida for work! Simi and Sandeep's Wedding
Our week in Mexico ended with a beautiful weekend celebrating the wedding of Simi and Sandeep! Friday afternoon we attended the wedding ceremony and Saturday evening we headed to the reception. It was a truly magical wedding week and I’m so happy I was able to make the trip to celebrate the newlyweds!
