While I haven't been following Fashion Week as closely as I would have liked, I am once again obsessed with J.Crew's newest collection. The photos shared on their website were just too beautiful not to take note of, and I browsed their entire collection on their Facebook page. The fringe details definitely caught my attention, while the geometric patterned skirt in the photo below is something I would love to buy immediately. Enjoy!

Sign Painters The Movie
This past Friday I joined several of my co-workers and went to AIGA KC's screening of Sign Painters: The Movie. I truly recommend this film to anyone who has an interest in hand-lettering, or documentaries in general. It was fascinating to not only watch the sign painters in the film execute their craft, but also to hear their commentary on this traditional skill. I recently discovered Present & Correct, a lovely company with the slogan "office sundries for the modern workspace." Their offering includes a quirky combination of office supplies, prints, and things for the home. Below are just a few things I would love to have in my office space, if only they shipped the typewriter to the U.S. Enjoy!
Family Photos
A few days ago my mom showed me some recently-discovered photos of my great-grandparents and grandfather. My great-grandparents, Lillie and Lue, were part of an amateur movie-making club which traveled all over the world taking pictures and making films. My mom grew up seeing pictures from these trips, but she mostly remember pictures of the places. These often didn't include her grandparents, making these images all the more special. This is just a small glimpse into their life, and the many photos we will now be able to treasure!
