Had to snap a few photos to capture peony season in my mom and Iβs gardens!
April Around the Web
April has come to a close and it went SO fast! This was our first full month with Grant and both Dale and I were off work on leave. I will always remember how special it was to have time at home together with our new baby! Family and friends got to come meet Grant and we spent many sleepless nights up with the baby, had pediatrician visits, and enjoyed all the snuggles. We also made it to Reverie, Graceβs musical she wrote and composed, celebrated Easter with family, and celebrated our nephew Grahamβs 6th birthday. Here are a few favorites from around the web:
Iβm not normally a big coffee drinker (until having a newborn) but this coffee bar and kitchen are dreamy!
While Easter is a whole year away, Iβm bookmarking this recipe for next year
This was one of our favorite meals we managed to cook this month
I would love one of these necklaces as a new mom!
Dreamy interior spaces worth admiring
A favorite recent non-baby purchase, a fancy cat fountain for Otto!
And a set I purchased before baby arrived that Iβm excited to finally get to wear!
I would love to make these Spring cheese boats for my next party!
A favorite piece I saw for this yearβs 36 days of type
Wouldnβt this be fun for summer?
Hello, spring!
Easter Blooms
Bright Easter blooms from our celebration today!
March Around The Web
Iβm writing this a bit in advance, baby boy should be here by the time this posts! We canβt wait to meet him. March was filled with final prep for baby, doctorβs appointments, time with family (Neil visited from Chicago early in the month), dinners with friends (Dinner Club at Ragazza, Sonyaβs birthday at Lidiaβs, Bamboo Pennyβs with Mary, Kam, Megan and Matt, and Tavern with Heather) and finishing up work before my leave. We are SO excited for what April and this Spring will bring!
This month we decided to get a new rug for our kitchen and went with this beautiful one from Anthropologie. While we loved our old one, it unfortunately was pretty worn from the past almost five years.
Right before baby we made these two frozen meals to have on hand. Looking forward to both the stuffed shells and quinoa dish!
I would love to have an entire tea station like this someday!
These wedding photos caught my eye, especially the ones peeking through the grass.
Love the idea of having a keepsake of babyβs hand and foot prints β these shadow boxes from Cowtown Clay are a beautiful option!
While I am a diehard Artifact Uprising fan (and ordered my baby book from them), I also love this option for a first year book from Printique.
A fun video from my Hallmark photo studio friends about turning a card into a gift!
Obsessed with these beautiful pressed flower pieces.
Welcome, baby boy!
January Around The Web
January has flown by and I am now 31 weeks pregnant! It was an exciting month with TWO baby showers to help us celebrate and prepare for our new arrival. We also spent a weekend in Wichita celebrating my friend Steph and her baby boy on the way. My friend Macy, who hosted us, is also expecting a little girl in March. Itβs going to be an eventful Spring! We wrapped up January with a few family birthday celebrations (a weekend at Turkey Hill for Pop and dinner for Aubrey).
Around the web I spotted this bag which has now been added to my wish list as an almost boy mom!
Lizβs trip to Harbour Island looked dreamy! And the turtle photos!
A lovely sneaker roundup
While I just canβt relate to cluttercore, this was an interesting read!
Also saving this for our next dinner out! Iβve had such a hard time knowing what mocktail to order while pregnant.
The perfect winter Valentineβs Day craft (as usual from Lars)
I know I would have LOVED this hidden room as a kid. Maybe someday we can have one!
Kelly has been sharing her colorful and moody Palm Springs home. You wonβt want to miss a single room but Iβm obsessed with the magenta dining room.
A recent baby purchase, the Snuggle Me infant lounger that is still on sale!
And the finishing touch on the nursery. While this isnβt typical baby decor, I love how it looks in the room and know we could easily move it somewhere else in our home in the future!
Hello, 2023!
Hallmark Stained Glass Workshop
At the end of the year, our lettering group at Hallmark participated in a two day stained glass workshop! I was SO excited to learn about stained glass, and used the opportunity to make a special piece for the babyβs room. Matt Kessler leads workshops at Hallmark, and was also kind enough to solder my piece for me so I wouldnβt be exposed to the lead while pregnant. I love how it turned out and canβt wait to get it hung up just as soon as our blinds arrive!
