It’s supposed to be a rainy week so here’s a photo of a sunnier day when I had this trio of Spring blooms sitting in my kitchen. I’m still working from home for the foreseeable future so I’m pretty excited when I can have some fresh flowers inside the house! This iris came from my parents yard but we recently planted some a neighbor was giving away so hopefully by next Spring we will have some blooming iris of our own. Enjoy!
Strong Women
Happy Mother’s Day! I can’t wait to celebrate my mom and I hope you all get to spend some time safely or virtually with the moms in your life today. This last card I’m sharing is one of my favorites because I got to collaborate with my friend Lauren Hale and I love the message, too.

Chalk Lettering for Hallmark
Last week I had the opportunity to create some chalk art on my sidewalk alongside a group of other artists from Hallmark! We wanted to share positive messages and gratitude for our neighbors–especially those working and taking care of others right now. The amazing writers at Hallmark wrote the perfect copy and everyone lettered their piece either at their home or out in the community.
A few local news stations shared our work, too! Hallmark’s Union Hill Studio shot some video that I can’t wait to see, but most of all I hope my message brought a little joy to those walking down my street over the past week. Kindness is magical!

The Best of Friends...
Happy Friday! I love how this card turned out, the laser detail is beautiful and it’s hard to beat gold foil lettering. Mother’s Day is so close, I hope you all are excited to celebrate the moms in your life.

More Spring Blooms
A few weeks ago I spent some time photographing all the Spring flowers on my street! Being home this last month really allowed me to watch the flowers bloom, something I’m really grateful for. And now peony season is upon us! What are your favorite Spring blooms?
