Mahogany Lettering for Valentine’s Day

While the weather in February may be my least favorite, Valentine’s Day and my birthday really add some bright spots to the month! I’m excited to share some lettering over the next two weeks that I had the opportunity to work on this year, including this design for Hallmark’s Mahogany line. Enjoy!

Design Symposium Talk at KU

Tomorrow I will be sharing about my Hallmark career at KU’s Design Symposium lecture series alongside a few other talented Hallmarkers. I can’t wait to be back on campus, especially alongside Krista (I completed by Senior Problems class at Hallmark with her when she was working in the Packaging Studio) and Olivia (who I helped recruit for Hallmark’s internship program and then mentored as part of the lettering mentorship program!).

January Around The Web

January has flown by and I am now 31 weeks pregnant! It was an exciting month with TWO baby showers to help us celebrate and prepare for our new arrival. We also spent a weekend in Wichita celebrating my friend Steph and her baby boy on the way. My friend Macy, who hosted us, is also expecting a little girl in March. It’s going to be an eventful Spring! We wrapped up January with a few family birthday celebrations (a weekend at Turkey Hill for Pop and dinner for Aubrey).

  • And the finishing touch on the nursery. While this isn’t typical baby decor, I love how it looks in the room and know we could easily move it somewhere else in our home in the future!
