I absolutely love how my lettering was used in this beautiful Paper Wonder Mother’s Day card! Featuring sound, motion (it spins!) and stunning gold details, this decorative lettering style is the perfect complement to the design. I’m thrilled to share a special collaboration between Hallmark x Miss Mahjong: Miss Heirloom! This was my first major project acting as Art Director, and I had the opportunity to collaborate with the talented illustrators Kristin Schultz, Christy Ni, Flora Chang alongside writer Melissa Woo to craft the artwork for a mahjong set truly meant to be an heirloom.
Originating in China centuries ago with deep cultural roots tied to family, heritage, and community,
the game has traveled and transformed around the globe. Its unique influence in American culture today, especially through the Jewish community, continues to connect cultures, generations, and
circles of friends.
At its core, it’s about gathering, tradition, and the moments that happen in between. Miss Heirloom was designed with that in mind, to be part of your rituals and to feel just as special the hundredth time you play as it does the first.
The Miss Heirloom Mahjong Bundle was brought to life through a collaboration between Hallmark and Miss Mahjong, drawing from over a century of archival artwork rooted in connection, storytelling, and the simple act of sending love.
In the tradition of mahjong, we hope it inspires connection and creates meaningful moments among friends and family for generations to come.
Each tile reflects that legacy in a way that feels both familiar and entirely new. Pansies drawn from one of Hallmark’s longest-standing card designs. Dragons reimagined as butterflies, symbolizing transformation and joy. Artist tools woven into the bams as a nod to craftsmanship. Envelopes tucked throughout as a tribute to letters sent and memories kept.
This month I tried my hardest to savor all the little moments leading up to baby brother’s arrival next month! Leading up to Easter we dyed eggs with EB, Grammy, Winston & Sophie, I enjoyed Dinner Club at Lazia, our landscaping install got underway, we celebrated Luke’s and Giorgia’s 3rd birthdays, I had lots of doctor appointments, and a highlight was my work sprinkle for baby boy. Also, my peonies survived moving and bloomed this year! Last year we had a few buds but this year many more blooms.
Mother’s Day is right around the corner (and also means we are SO close to meeting baby boy!). I loved seeing my lemon artwork and lettering applied to this gift card greeting for Hallmark — perfect for celebrating all the moms in your life.

I’ll always remember how excited Grant was to take his photo with the Easter Bunny this year! We had a wonderful time celebrating at Indian Hills both at the family party and at Easter lunch after church. With baby due in just a few short weeks it was nice to take a break from hosting and enjoy the festivities. It is hard to believe that next year we will have two little bunnies to celebrate with!
March was such a special month! On the very first day of the month we found out that Winnie is getting a little SISTER, Grant continued his love for “skiing” around the house on cardboard skis, we went to Dozer again for a classmate’s birthday, we had to say goodbye to our Chevy (but Dale was very excited about his new Subaru Solterra!), I led an archival lettering workshop at work, EB and GPA pained Grant’s big boy room his favorite color blue, we had Spring Break adventures at Crown Center, Grant got to golf with GPa, we celebrated Grant’s 3rd (!) birthday and ended the month celebrating baby boy #2 at a sweet sprinkle hosted by Megan and Mary. So much joy this March!
