Fieldnotes Font
At Valentine’s Day three years ago I was able to first share my Fieldsmith font when it was used on several heart day cards. Today I am excited to share my second font collaboration, Fieldnotes! Created by Josh Scruggs (a fellow KU alum!), this casual script comes in two versions (one textured, one smooth). This font is named to accompany my previous font as it also nods back to my maiden name, Fields. I’ve noticed Fieldnotes used on some recent Hallmark social posts as well. I can’t wait to see all the ways designers will continue incorporating it into their work!

Happy Wednesday! Today I’m sharing this Hallmark postcard featuring my lettering! I’ve mailed a few to family and friends — it was the perfect way to send my love during these times! I hope you are able to celebrate (or send some mail) to those you love this heart day.

Girlfriend Lettering for Hallmark
Valentine’s Day continues to be one of my favorite seasons to create artwork for at Hallmark! I absolutely LOVE how this card turned out, the designer did such a lovely job adding processes and finishing the design. I hope there are many happy girlfriends who receive this card this year!

Val Paper Wonder Lettering
Last Valentine’s Day my very first Paper Wonder cards that I collaborated on arrived in stores and since then I’ve been lucky to have the chance to create mono-weight laser lettering for several cards, including this new Val diorama. Other examples include these Thanksgiving and Love cards. This just might be the card I give to Dale this year!
