Hallmark Holiday Gift Presentation Lettering

Hello, friends! Christmas is upon us once again and I’m excited to share that Sheyda and I’s look for Hallmark’s Holiday Product story lives on with new product this year! First up, my font “Good Cheer” created by Josh Scruggs used on this adorable green gift bag, along with several other pieces of embellished typography. These started from Laura Ballard and Josh Scruggs font “Snickerdoodle.”

Hallmark Christmas Experience

This holiday season was the debut of the Hallmark Christmas Experience at Crown Center in Kansas City, Missouri. For months (or maybe even over a year!) Hallmark has been working on bringing this event to life and I was so excited to have a small impact on the lettering and design (as they utilized a lot of Sheyda and I’s holiday work) which included supporting a collaborative mural, designing a commemorative t-shirt, lettering for gift product and seeing my friend Laura Ballard’s font “Snickerdoodle” that I had embellished all over the event!

I also had the opportunity to host an envelope decorating workshop with Chris Russell and Jim Langford one of the weekends. It was surreal to see things jump from my computer to giant screens, billboards and tents at the event and I loved meeting so many wonderful Hallmark fans. If you find yourself in KC during the holidays don’t miss a visit to the Hallmark Christmas Experience!

Holiday Lettering for Hallmark

Seeing holiday product arrive in stores has been extra exciting this year as I got the chance to collaborate with the talented illustrator Sheyda Best on a style guide that was utilized for gifts, greetings, marketing and more this season! Here are a few photos of the adorable gift product designed by Lauren Hale and the Hallmark Gifts team.
