The next stop of our California road trip was Muir Woods! This was actually my third time visiting the area and every time has been equally magical. We were lucky to have a sunny morning to walk through the trees and soak up the beauty. If you find yourself near SF it really is worth the quick trip to visit!
San Francisco
Earlier this month Dale finally had a week off and we headed to California! Our first stop was San Francisco, I loved getting the chance to see family and also see where Dale spent his childhood though first grade. Our second day we finally ventured into the city and began our day on Market Street. After walking to the Ferry Building to grab breakfast we made our way to China Town.
I loved having a whole day to just walk around and explore. After China Town we spent some time shopping around Union Square before heading to lunch with a friend. After we ate we headed to the pier to see the sea lions and had a delicious brownie at Ghirardelli. Before heading to Palo Alto for dinner at Zareenβs we made a quick pit-stop at Twin Peaks for a view of the city. Our first few days were great, San Fran is really one of my favorite cities in the US. Next up, Carmel Valley!
Mother's Day Cards for Hallmark: Part Two
Here are a few more Motherβs Day cards I worked on this year! Process really makes both these looks shine, the first card has multiple foils, screen print, and flitter while the other two really sparkle with flitter dots and gold foil. I am really looking forward to a Motherβs Day picnic with my mom this weekend, I hope you have plans to celebrate with your families, too!
Motherβs Day Gifts for Think.Make.Share.
Kelly and I had a chance to create DIY clay pins for Mothersβ Day and all the details are now up on Think.Make.Share.! I especially love how these pins can be used in several different ways. Enjoy!
