Lora once again perfectly captured our family for our 2025 Christmas card! I’m especially obsessed with all the shots of Grant – you can really see his personality! And we are even more excited to share that our family is growing: Baby Boy Smith #2 is due to arrive in May 2026!
Grant Santa & Mrs. Claus Photo
Grant (after being sick and missing both picture day and makeup picture day) finally posed for this adorable photo baking with Santa and Mrs. Claus at daycare. Thank you to Blush & Vine Photography for this sweet memory, definitely going to frame and set out at Christmases to come!

Winnie’s First Birthday!
Last weekend we celebrated my nephew Winston’s 1st birthday with a very fitting Winnie the Pooh themed party! Sophie made the most adorable beehive cake and Winnie loved his smash cake, too. Happy birthday, Winston! We love you!
Toddler Truck Room
In April we moved into a new home and I’ve been excited to start designing Grant’s toddler room! While he is still sleeping in his crib in the nursery, I know we will want to move him to a new room at some point. He’s obsessed with trucks and construction sites so I’ve been on the hunt for toddler truck themed decor that also goes along with the house. I can’t wait for things to start arriving!
Antibes, France
On July 4th we had to say goodbye to Provence and headed to the coast. The last night of our trip was spent at the Royal Antibes Hotel overlooking the water. We spent the day enjoying the beach and had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant Royal Beach. Walking through old town was a highlight and our after dinner ice cream was the perfect finale to our time in France. I’m so grateful for this special trip with our family and that Dale and I were able to make these memories with Grant.
L’Isle Sur La Sorgue
We actually visited L’Isle Sur La Sorgue twice during our stay in Provence! Yesterday we breifly stopped by and enjoyed some ice cream/desserts at Chez Ju Resto & Bistro before heading back to our Airbnb to escape the heat. L’Isle Sur La Sorgue is known for its antiques, and it honestly was a bit more difficult to find the best spots than expected! A few favorites included Le Village des Antiquaires de la Gare, Jardin Antique and L’Ile Aux Brocantes (plus lunch at Le Cafe du Village).
