Today I found myself extremely inspired by Stella McCartney's Spring 2016 collection. These are just a few pieces that caught my eye, but the whole collection is definitely worth admiring. I don't anticipate that I will find it within my budget to actually purchase any of these pieces, but I am obsessed with the playful patterns and beadwork. Enjoy!
A few weeks ago I had the amazing opportunity to attend a workshop at Hallmark with artist Ashley Goldberg! Over on the Think.Make.Share. blog you can see an interview with Ashley, as well as some snapshots from the workshop. Hallmark also created a video where she shares some great pattern-making tips. I was even lucky enough to walk away with the cat print pictured in the photo below (via the Think.Make.Share. blog):
Here are a few pictures I took during the workshop. The second image shows some pieces I created during the workshop. If you aren't familiar with Ashley's work I definitely recommend you take a look!
While Marimekko is a brand I have been familiar with for awhile, I just recently started following them on social media. With Fall upon us here in the midwest, I am just in love with the color palette in the Autumn 2014 collection. I also love the mix of patterns. I often find myself wearing multiple patterns at once, and I love to see how brands and individuals alike pair patterns together. I hope you find this collection just as inspiring as I do!
Having spent a great portion of yesterday doing product research, I stumbled upon the lovely website that is Such Great Heights. These kids products are created to nurture creativity and utilize quality materials and design adults will cherish. I know I would have loved playing in my own Wonder Tent as a child. Take a look!
