August Around The Web
Summer is already coming to a close! This month we spent lots of time with friends, celebrated my dad’s birthday, finally had dinner at Novel, and I traveled to Salt Lake/Park City for a bachelorette weekend. Here are a few of my favorite finds from around the web:
This mauve marble caught my eye, I discovered Ulla Johnson’s home through Coco Kelley
I would love to have my very own greenhouse!
My favorite recipe we tried recently, I added in some tomatoes we picked out at our lake house
I’m always on the hunt for new plants for our house!
And a beautiful propagation planter system
It’s always interesting to see what design trends people are talking about
Saving this post as we start thinking about a beach trip next year
A thought-provoking read for the design community as Design*Sponge comes to an end
Julia’s home was featured in Southern Living!
Hello, Fall!
Park City, Utah
Hiking in Park City was one of my favorite parts of my recent trip to Utah! We were in town for my friend Joanna’s bachelorette weekend and I took these photos hiking in the Deer Valley Ski Resort. I would love to come back to this area to ski, too, but the perfect summer weather was pretty hard to top.
Sunflower Saturday
Finally made it to our local farmer’s market and I couldn’t help but snag these sunflowers. Hope you are having a relaxing weekend (maybe also filled with flowers)!

July Around The Web
Hello, friends! I’ve been a bit quiet on the blog this month, July was full of lots of work, time at the lake/pool, a trip to the blueberry patch, and several trips to Family Tree (the best place to get plants in KC!). Here are a few of my favorite finds around the web:
Oh Joy! released a pillow collection! Still trying to decide which one I need most, I especially love the lettering ones.
Continually amazed by Lars Paper Flowers, take a look at these foxgloves!
I’ve been contemplating wallpaper in a few spots in our house, and while we don’t have kids I still loved this roundup
An interesting article I read this month
A Tattly design that’s making me want to get back into embroidery, as well as this DIY from Think.Make.Share.!
An idea for raised gardens beds, I could totally see us adding these to our yard next summer!
A craft that reminds me of all the crafts I did with beads as kid!
An LA party that makes me want to hop on a plane and head for the coast
Is anyone else fascinated by peeks into other people’s schedules? Loved reading Ty Haney’s work diary.
