Spring is in full bloom around here as we head into May! April has been a busy month: I got to attend my sister Grace’s Spring Show for Drill Team, we celebrated Easter with both Dale and I’s families, we spent a week in Santa Fe, I’m fully vaccinated (maybe the most exciting!!). Wedding prep is in full swing as well with Sophie’s shower invitations mailed and her wedding invitations should arrive from the printer soon. My friend Megan and I hosted a baby shower for our friend Mary, and we spent some time at Turkey Hill with our friends Brandon and Sonya! Life is starting to feel a bit more normal and I’m really looking forward to celebrating lots of things later this Spring.

I didn’t do a full recap of our last day in Santa Fe but we visited both Meow Wolf and The Museum of International Folk Art! Both were amazing, must-sees in Santa Fe. We also had a great last dinner at Maria’s!
We also visited the Georgia O’Keeffe museum right after I read this article. Divine timing!

And I can’t end the month without acknowledging that this month wasn’t without its share of hardships. I firmly stand with the Asian American community and am glad to see accountability for the murder of George Floyd. There is still work to be done.
