I had the opportunity to help paint this amazing mural at a local elementary school close to Hallmark! Lynn Giunta, Barb Mizik, and Livy long had the idea to paint a mural somewhere in the community and Livy designed the mural based off the ideas of the fifth graders at the school. Lots of us were then able to help bring the mural to life! Take a look at the time lapse Hallmark's Union Hill Studio captured over the few days of painting and learn more about the project over on Think.Make.Share.
Sunroom Inspiration
Hello, friends! I'm finally sharing another roundup of inspiration for the house. One of my favorite rooms is a tiny sunroom off our bedroom and Dale has given me free-rein to decorate! The whole room is based upon the Globetrotter Wallpaper from Clarke & Clarke — my mom used this wallpaper in a hallway at her house and happens to have extra that will hopefully fit the space. Other than that I have ordered the bookshelf (it just shipped) and all the other details are just ideas for the time being. I will be sure to share photos once the room has come together! Also feel free to pass along any tips for keeping a real Fiddle Leaf Fig alive, otherwise I might have to resort to the faux one below. Enjoy!
1. Jaya Floral Embroidered Velvet Throw Pillow from Urban Outfitters
2. Ikea Tejn Faux Sheepskin from Amazon
3. Nichols Standard Bookcase from Wayfair
4. Globetrotter Natural Wallpaper from Clarke & Clarke
5. Decorative Globe from Anthropologie
6. Faux Fiddle Leaf Fig Plant from West Elm
7. Moroccan Leather Pouf - Small from West Elm
Put It Into Words Campaign Launch
Last week I had the chance to travel to LA for the launch of Hallmark's Put It Into Words campaign! Gabrielle Union is the spokesperson and it was so lovely to get the chance to meet her and address over 100 cards attendees sent to family and friends. Here are a few photos from the evening:

July Around The Web
Hello, friends! This month has been especially busy at work, I filmed a segment for KCTV5's Better KC sharing how to wrap baby gifts using the adorable Hallmark Baby product designed by my friend Amber Goodvin, I filmed a segment for the Hallmark Channel that will air this Christmas, and I traveled to LA for a work trip. It was a whirlwind but really exciting too! Dale and I are also settling in to his new work schedule, and I've loved getting through all of our photos from our Europe trip. Here are my favorite finds around the web:
While we have a lot of yard projects to go, a raised garden could be fun someday!
Beautiful paper poppies from The House That Lars Built
Adorable baby shower ideas that might come in handy for when I host a shower for my friend in a few months!
I'm always obsessed with beautiful floral arrangements, especially for parties!
I wish I could have taken this workshop in LA
I can't with for this Vitamin C Serum to arrive, I just ordered it!
Dale and I love dumplings, these are on my list to try.
Furthering my obsession with Château de Gudanes...
Enjoy the rest of your summer!
2019 Year of Good Thoughts Calendar
Hello, friends! I'm excited to share a few of my favorite pages from the 2019 Year of Good Thoughts Calendar I created for Hallmark. Each page features a quote from the Hallmark writing collection, and I loved bringing them to life with my lettering. It's available at Hallmark Gold Crown stores now!
